Who are we?

ADESA, Asociación Desarrollo de la Educación y la Salud ( Association for Development of Education and Healthcare) is a non-profit organization that started working in the slums of the North Cone of Lima in the year 1986. ADESA has healthcare, education and social programs.

ADESA considers education and healthcare as indispensable for the development of a country. Consequently she suggested as her mission, since 1986, to contribute to the improvement of quality of healthcare and education services in the most needed areas in Peru . ADESA facilitates access to these services to persons of low resources, especially in the `Young Villages´ (slums) that surround the city of Lima . To attain this goal, ADESA has designed as a general strategy, to build and implement schools and a medical center in places where these services lack, as well as to improve existing infrastructure in the fields of healthcare and education.
